East Cornwall Council for Voluntary Service
Hire prices are daily rates and exclude delivery, collection, technical support, insurance cover and VAT.
Weekly Hire price is four times the daily rate.
Equipment is to be collected by arrangement usually between 10 - 4 pm Mon-Fri.
The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage sustained to the equipment.
ECCVS reserves the right to refuse hire of equipment.
ECCVS shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage whatsoever, whether caused to the property or person of the customer, its employers or otherwise, which may be attributed to the equipment or its use.
The hirer irrevocably grants ECCV the right to reclaim its property at any time after completion of the hire period, and to enter onto the hirer's premises by any means necessary in order to do so. Any equipment found to be faulty should be reported to ECCVS Duty Staff immediately. Failure to do so will result in full hire charges.
Please return equipment before 12.00 noon the next day. Equipment returned late by the hirer will be charged at full daily rates.
Cancellation Fees:
More than 48 hours notice - no charge
48 - 24 hours notice - 50% of the one day charge
Less than 24 hours notice - 100% of the one day charge
Deposits
Deposits will be returned after the equipment has been checked.
Deposits can be cash or cheque.
Organisations unable to bring in cash/cheque will be required to provide a letter of authority on headed paper and signed by a senior member of staff/cheque signatory. This will be verified before equipment is handed over.
Terms of Payment
Payment in full must be made at time of receiving equipment, invoices will only be issued by special arrangement. New customers must produce adequate means of identification when collecting the equipment, e.g. driving licence, utility bill, passport.

Resources
ECCVS offers a variety of office services at reasonable prices for both members and non-members. We have high quality laser printers, as well as faxing facilities, binding and lamination machines, guillotine, long armed stapler and general office equipment.
Printing is to be paid for on the day, we can however invoice for larger volumes by special arrangement. A bulk copying/printing discount is available to members by special arrangement. For large volume printing, please contact us 24 hours in advance.
