Advice and support

This can include:

  • helping an organisation identify its funding requirements
  • identifying possible sources of funding
  • explaining how to prepare applications
  • discussing your funding strategy
  • commenting on and helping with draft applications (this does not include writing them, though this service can be provided but a charge will apply).

Training

ECCVS provides various funding related training sessions and seminars, such as:

  • Writing Better Funding Applications - looks at how to construct applications in a way which will appeal to funders.
  • Meet the Funders - seminars organised with various funders who come and talk about funding issues. In the past, funders from the Big Lottery, Awards for All, Lloyds TSB Foundation, the South West Foundation and others have attend these seminars.
